Cute Look And Great Music, But Meh Controls

Preliminary: Hmmm interesting. Great colors, great aesthetic, good music so far, cutesy but "serious"/not too goofy (so far). We shall see how the fighting holds up cuz I heard combat is its weakest part.

You would think with teh intro drills with Chief they'd make you want to enjoy the controls and ease into them, they somehow made the course for the dashing super awkward and irritating, almost as tedious as trying to quickly hit a staff that quickly rises up out of the ground as your first way of learning the combat.

That first miniboss was pretty boring. And the controls keep showing their meh ways, as expected. I will give it anotehr shot tomorrow but most likely moving on.

Oh but super cute world map and world map tune tho. Ugh and wow the music for Land of Four Seasons is incredible! Oh how Sound and Look can keep me to a game whose Play is only so good, but I always eventually burn out when Play is the main detractor since well it is a videogame to be played :-p

Welp on Day 2 I started having technical difficulties. Maybe I'll return to it some day.

Look: 8/10

Sound: 8.5/10 Great stuff

Play: 6.5/10 Frankly bad. But I only experienced a bit of it so I wonder if later additions to combat and movement make it smoother and more enjoyable... or they don't :-p

Feel: 7/10

Attachment: 7/10

Overall: 7.4/10
