Star Fox: Assault
Not a fan of this game. I definitely shouldn't have tried going into the hardest difficulty immediately.
- It's pretty.
- Great soundtrack.

- It's pretty.
- Great soundtrack.
- The story is intense. The stakes have never felt higher and it's darker than I would have expected from a star fox game.
- It just doesn't really feel like a Star Fox game. About 70% of the game is devoted to the on-foot missions with clunky controls and a bad camera that gets caught in enclosed spaces. Without the Star Fox IP, it's an okay 3rd person shooter at best with tedious objective-based missions.
- Ending is a bit weak sauce, it took the gravity and weight out of a lot of events in the story.
- Teammates are still the worst thing ever.
- I'm used to modern practices. In this game, enemy attacks are hard to read and supply drops seem to only give you the item you need the least.
- The missions are way too long. It's exhausting thinking you finished a really difficult mission just to realize you only did part 1 of 3. Some missions feel like they necessitate prior knowledge and experience before completing the level. Really not a fan of most of the level design in-general, even the arwing sections.
