I have played many, many terrible games over the past few years. You become kinda jaded thinking you've seen it all. But then someone comes along and fails in creative new ways.
Taiku Mansion combines terrible pixelated graphics with terrible navigation and terrible "puzzles". In one of these ultra-low resolution environments you have to click on... something? This opens a door and from that point on you do "puzzles" to open random doors that you have to find using the terrible navigation system. I quit playing after a few puzzles but most of them were variations of "guess the correct order". There was only one actual puzzle, in which you have to move a chess piece (should have been a ball) to a certain place on the board.
I quit when i was doing yet another "guess the order you have to click the buttons in" "puzzle" and despite having 5 buttons the code was longer than 5 clicks. At that point i realised i'd rather just bang my head against the wall - it'd be more fun.
