I played the demo for an hour or so after watching a video showcasing this game. I experienced pretty much all the demo had to offer and fell into a routine of fighting weak enemies in the cave until I was full on loot or needed healing, then going back to town. Eventually the enemies were so easy that I did not need to rest at the tavern anymore. I lasted a little past 700 days at level 19 before I died. The dread enemies that appeared after day 700 were very powerful and took chunks out of my hp. Kind of misses the point of a chose your own adventure. The artwork on the cards did not always match up. All of the dark knights looked like dark elves, many people were animal people, and there was a homely maiden that looked like a baby lizard or something. That was neither homely nor a maiden.

I played this on PC but it would be more suitable as a simple time waster on a phone. Not interesting enough to buy but I would likely play if it was free.
