Coca-Cola Kid is a simple little platformer for the Game Gear, which has you play as a hip 90s boy (backwards cap and skateboard) who beats up a bunch of dudes who kidnapped the boy's teacher for whatever reason. Also there's Coca-Cola somewhere, IDK.
It's okay for an old Game Gear game? I found the controls a bit too clunky to maneuver well (especially for wall jumps), and having to do a super-charge slam against every wall to find the secret paths (often required) was very annoying. I also hated the flashy lights background in the final world (a disco joint). I understand my expectations for a handheld platformer of this era need to be less than those for home consoles, but even still I think this one has a couple too many faults to ever want to replay.

But damn, now I feel like having a soda... (I only drink Dr Pepper though when I do have one, sorry Coke.)
