Beat the game. I had a bit of trouble on the 2nd level because the game does not clearly describe your objectives and I ran out of the one type of missile that can hit land which causes automatic mission fail. The infinite enemies were very annoying and made the objectives of "defeat all enemy forces" even more confusing. Ok so you mean the special enemy that is set as the boss of the level and not the infinite minions?
I enjoyed the core gameplay. Being able to freely travel throughout each level and turn around to backtrack is a nice change of pace from the autoscrolling shooters. This game could have been a masterpiece with better level design (no enemy respawn, clearer objectives, more varied objectives) and a better story; either by actually following the source material or dropping it and making it a standalone IP. As it stands, the game might as well be called "Sub Hunt" because it has absolutely nothing to do with the movie or …
