Unlikeable main protagonist ruined the story

I eventually gave up on this game because the relationships between the characters were pretty terrible, and the dungeons were difficult to navigate intuitively, so the gameplay wasn't all that fun. I was mostly playing for the story, but once party members start being added, you realize the main character is kind of horrible to people. Like, really horrible.

I was mostly playing for the story, but once party members start being added, you realize the main character is kind of horrible to people. Like, really horrible.

I skimmed some reviews that pointed out she never gets any better or redeems herself, and she's actually worse to characters I haven't met yet. Soooo... no thanks.
