Alley Cat is an early video game in which the player controls a cat, navigating an alley screen and various challenge rooms. The player must enter a room and complete the objective inside, while avoid hazards such as objects being thrown out of windows, wandering dogs, giant spiders and the broomstick.

Super cute, but I couldn't quite get the controls down right. Great ideas for the platform and action minigame type things, great colors and graphics, and good sound. But can't fully engage with it with these awkward diagonal movement issues. And the odd pseudo-responsiveness. (I should try the PC version some time.)
