I loved the first part of the game, but lost interest at the split. I was not happy that most of the characters I collected could not be used anymore. I'd like to start the game over with that in mind. Someday... maybe.

An Underrated Hodgepodge
Radiata Stories was one of those games I picked up at a pawn shop. I'd never heard of it, nor could I find anyone who had played it... I'm still surprised at the number of people who haven't too. I'm still surprised at the number of people who haven't too. The game was 'ALIVE', like night & day; literally. The good majority of the characters you interact w/ & see out 'n about are recruitable; from the hobo in the sewers & to the castle guard themselves. They also have they're own homes, schedules/routines (which change based on the day of week & time of day), & storied backgrounds. The gameplay takes some getting used to, but it was 'FUN'; & not only that, but different too. The story wasn't as strong as most games of it's genre, but what it had was thought provoking & just as memorable in its own right (albeit mostly thanks to it's colorful cast).
