3.5/5

The Dark Queen of Mortholme is a really short indie game that's all about playing as the final villain in a typical dark gothic style adventure game. Taking place entirely on one screen, your character's final throne room, you keep defeating the hero character from their own video game story who sees you as the final boss he needs to overcome. When the hero character first enters the room, you dispatch of him near immediately. There are a few different endings here, and one in particular is more difficult to achieve where I had to play through it a second time to achieve it. I completed all achievements in 58 minutes so it is a very short game but don't let that stop you …

I completed all achievements in 58 minutes so it is a very short game but don't let that stop you from picking this up. Even at full price it's only $5, but you'll enjoy every minute of it!
