Game tries to imitate Virtua Fighter 2, but is not up for the challenge

3D characters using some real-world fighting styles? Check. Arenas you can get knocked out of? Check. Balanced fighting system? Nope.
It's hard to understand when you moves connect. Some moves look flashy, but doesn't do any damage. Due to that some characters are amazingly weak (Linna) or amazingly strong (Jake). Best way I found to get through this game is …

It's hard to understand when you moves connect. Some moves look flashy, but doesn't do any damage. Due to that some characters are amazingly weak (Linna) or amazingly strong (Jake). Best way I found to get through this game is ring knock out and some good old button mashing.
