A Quality Fantasy-Driven Text Adventure

Play: 7/10 The prescribed battles, like the earlier Mysterious Adventures, actually felt a bit dry this time, although I doubt I would prefer it be RNG-based anyway.. I liked the fantasy feeling of killing, say, the Serpent and thereby earning the Arrowhead item. Lol drugging the Giants. Definitely some interesting settings in this, I always love a Beach setting part. A bit convoluted in how epic it tries to make the breadth of settings, though, like Adventureland but less well-executed imo.

Feel: 8/10 "For those who journey in Dreams..." Another good concept; I feel like Mysterious Adventures took the mantle for that from the earliest text adventures like Colossal Cave, Acheton, and Stuga/The Cottage which all had very unique concepts realized in text adventure form. I wish there were graphics with these original Mysterious Adventures, though (I hear the Dragon ports has graphics, I believe). Fletching this arrow, using the Master Fletcher, using an Arrowhead and Cutting a Branch, all reminded me of my Runescape days!

Attachment: 6/10 Only if I wanna delve deeply into text adventures will I include this and Part II!
