The best crossover ever?

  • ACTUAL Zelda puzzles instead of random stuff like sumo wrestlers and mafia shooting goons (cough Mario's Super Picross cough)? ✅️

  • QoL improvements? ✅️

  • Fast and responsive controls? ✅️

Fun Freebie

I heard about this game from this article where the author describes completing a few silly website minigames to reach the amount of Platinum Points necessary to download. I was only a few away from 1,000 of the things, so I figured "why not?"

I heard about this game from this article where the author describes completing a few silly website minigames to reach the amount of Platinum Points necessary to download. I was only a few away from 1,000 of the things, so I figured "why not?"

I hadn't played a Picross game before this. Screenshots always led me to believe it was an offshoot of Sudoku, which I'm terrible at. I was surprised to find that I'm decent at Picross, and I find it really addictive!

The game consists of three modes. I completed 100% of the main Picross mode and had a blast. I also loved Micross, which has you solving tiny Picross puzzles that connect to form a much larger mosaic... I could have played a dozen more of these.

The only mode I feel pretty "meh" about is Mega Picross. At first I found it extremely counter-intuitive, but eventually after reading some tutorials online I understood better how it worked. But I'm just too slow at it, and I still have moments where I think I'm understanding the clue right but I tap the wrong square... about halfway through the Mega Picross puzzles, I stopped being able to clear them in under the time limit.

While the game is light on features and far from flawless, it had me hooked and was a fun introduction to Picross. A worthy use of your My Nintendo Platinum Points.

Legend of Picross

I haven't played a Picross game before this one and I fell in love, it was incredibly addictive. I like 2 of the 3 game modes. The one I didn't like Megacross or whatever its called it puts some of the numbers in two different column, while creating a new way to play I didn't find it all that interesting …

More Picross, which is fine by me!

Pros:
-- More Picross! This time with Zelda images ...*
-- Lots of nice features for beginners...**
-- It's free...***

Cons:
-- *...but also not Zelda images
-- **...but could also be viewed as cheating, compared to features allowed in other Picross games
-- ***...As of time of writing, this was only available via purchase with weird Nintendo currency
