This DreamWorks Interactive game based off the 1997 film has an absolutely amazing soundtrack, baffling controls, interesting graphics and sends you scared down weird paths and has you master weird angles and mechanics as you play as a plethora of dinosaurs of varying shapes and sizes. Some areas are nice to look at however, with a charming design and lighting to them.

Eventually you gain control of some armed hoomans, and you blast oncoming enemy beasts with rifles and grenades - all while solving puzzles and traversing different platforming sections. It’s a welcomed break from the sluggish handling of say the T. Rex. Very difficult video game, my research says not many kids saw past the first few levels where you play as the smaller dinosaur. It sort of follows the movie, which is cool, and the boat section at the end is in there and is playable. bloody thumbs up*

The final product feels rushed and somewhat unfinished, but overall you can tell it was made by a passionate and fun team that was perhaps rushed and had too little to work with. If you owned this for your Playstation back in the day; I'm sure you either got stuck early on and got frustrated, or you mastered the controls and saw the different playable sections of the game and can look back at it fondly.
