When you start the game, you may stay a bit lost for a few minutes on what kind of world you've landed upon and what you have to do, but DON'T STOP HERE !! You maybe never realised it, but you always wanted to summon demons with some weird high school friends. Now you can do it.

You have your demon book in hands, and you'll be able to follow the instructions to summon your demons friends, one by one. Each demon has its description and lore, you'll be able to understand more of this world. But if you feel overwhelmed by all this, you have the notes at the end + the useful informations to summon it in bold. You also discover more and more things on your friends that come to help you, it feels like following a fun cheesy movie !

The instructions are not straightforward, you will need to try more than once to know who to pick and what to choose to make the demons appear, but that's part of the fun of the game : making you learn more about its demons and its people. The artworks work well, with the demons drawings being especially cool and making you feel like you're holding a 100% real demonic book with real dangers and consequences !!!

I really recommend it, it's one of the game you have by default when you own a playdate, and it's a surpringly good short experience ! I give it 5 stars since, for me, it was able to deliver what it wanted to share, and it did it in a lovely way.
