A Bit Irritating, But Technically An Excellent And Clever Game

Look: 7/10 Really nice colors and graphics. Nothing particularly special tho. The chameleon sprite is real nice. Oh, and the vulture too. I like the mechanical vibe screen too tho I didn't get a screenshot of it. enter image description here

Sound: 6/10 Cute, but quite redundant.

Play: 7/10 I kept saying I was going to quit, yet kept going screen after screen. The mechanics and gameplay at first irritated me: I kept dying, kept accidentally tonguing up to higher platforms on accident, and was confused that I don't only have to eat all eggs--I also have to kill all the birds. Once I got a hang of it, I wasn't so much having fun as I was addicted to completing it ha.

Feel: 7/10 As I was getting into my groove, it suddenly looked like it re-cycled to the original screen (with a slightly different design). And I was getting irritated again with how sometimes it'd think I wanted to climb up one of the pathways, etc. It's basically a maze game, with cool mechanics like how the tongue can shoot in any direction and kill the birds even from a platform below etc. It just isn't perfectly executed, despite such cool ideas. …

Like I love that you can climb up all parts of the platform, or shoot up with your tongue, and attack from a distance with your tongue--but it was a bit too chaotically controlled for me.

Attachment: 7/10 I did complete the 2 unique screens in the sense of the sprite vibes, but I know there were new level designs ahead. I am not sure when I would replay it, but I could potentially see myself doing so. If only the controls were a bit more tweaked.

Completion: To Round 3. 154, 000 Score Playtime: ~25 mins
