Besides giving far too many 3 stars (which I almost did for this game), 1993 also has me playing games for 30+ minutes and getting through several levels and still giving 2 stars :( Like I've said in other reviews, I think it's just that I am at the era when I was introduced to gaming so I have a soft spot for the era. Also games seem to have a higher standard for what to expect from them. Whatever it is, I think I am officially getting back to the point where I give out 2 stars instead of so many 3 stars, becasue even with a great Look and Sound (and if I wrote a proper review and gave ratings, this would end up being a 3 star because my rating system is broken), I am giving this a 2 star and moving on :-x It's not a bad game, but quite dull for the gameplay and not really looking for another shmup
