Apotheorasis • Lab of the Blind Gods is an FPS with a blind main character, so there's no graphics. The only thing you see on screen is a prompt telling you to wear headphones and close your eyes. That's it. So it's a game entirely based on using noises and voices to orient yourself, move around, fight, all while using the classic WASD + mouse setup (or a gamepad). Even the options menu is not on screen, you hear a call center like description and you interact by saying yes or no through the mousewheel. It's a nice idea, it works, it knows it can sometimes be too hard so it lets you skip whatever checkpoint you want to skip. Also, it's not too long. I've only got two minor complaints: (1) it's the usual post-Bioshock story about free will and frankly I'm a bit tired of those, (2) playing late at night with your eyes closed while listening to people talking to you gives you a 75% chance of falling asleep and crashing your face on the keyboard.
