Inseparable from nostalgia

This was the baseball game for me; hours were spent playing this game while I had Descendent's "Two Things at Once" in the tape player on repeat. Maybe it's not the best baseball game, but it was mine!

Preliminary: Great intro video but like I keep saying, NES games just keep feeling more and more outdated as I am in Dec 1989.

Tbh tho this is the best of the sports games I've played so far. Way better than the microcomputer attempts. I will never be a big sports game fan, tho, but I will give recognition for this one doing it well. The batting system was intuitive and as addictive as a sports game gets for me (about 5 minutes of wanting to keep doing it haha). It made sense, I could notice Balls most the time, and the hitting was responsive and logical. The characters were cute little sprites.

Giving an honorary 3 star, but any future baseball games uh Imma expect something more. This one was just the first one to feel worth a full-fledged playtest

Playtime: ~ 15 mins
