You (either a girl or boy, your choice) stand in a lonely graveyard outside Ghost Manor. A friend is trapped inside. You must find a way to enter the Manor and rescue the prisoner through 5 game screens. But beware! Unfriendly ghosts lurk behind tombstones; witches and goblins haunt the entryway; and demons and ghastly spirits may attack at any moment. It's very dark. Only brief flashes of lightning aid your search for the magical coffin. Remember...finding your friend is only half the game. You must then find a safe way out. Good luck!

Interesting Atari Game With Decent Gameplay

Look: 7/10 Typical Atari 2600 look, with the Halloween vibe I always love to see. Kinda disappointed with the ending graphic looking so much like the death graphic (ironic/interesting tho). Otherwise, good Atari look and liked the inclusion of 2 possible character sprites.

Sound: 6/10 Tho I like the halloween-y theme of the opening song etc., it was kind of annoying. I did love the ending "song"/rhythmic beating sound ha.

Play: 7/10 Very precise collision masks for most the game, especially sprites, but super clumsy with the walls during the 3rd and 4th screens. Would be very confusing without reading online info and the manual. I almost gave up when I couldn't figure out the last screen, but a little online looking and it made sense. Gotta get underneath him with, seemingly, at least one Cross in your inventory, but time it so you're directly below the upper right exit of the Dracula room (where you apparently trap him heh).. But at last, I did it! enter image description here

Feel: 8/10 I was very happy with myself with how far I got on my first try (3rd screen, good thing I had already read online to run into the rainbow ghost at …

Feel: 8/10 I was very happy with myself with how far I got on my first try (3rd screen, good thing I had already read online to run into the rainbow ghost at the beginning as much as possible so that you're geared for the later screens--one of the adventure attributes of this). Tho binary (unsurprisingly), it was nice to see you could choose between a femme or masc character. And the fact I played through to the proper end of an Atari game, which is pretty rare considering how frustrating their gameplay can often be, says something. Not an excellent game, but an interesting game that's fun enough to properly play through. Not sure if it could qualify for a pick-up-and-play at get-together game, tho, a bit too convoluted and requires tacit knowledge etc.

Attachment: 7/10 As I mentioned above, it just can't become a regular go-to for with others and on my own. But it was fun and I played through it, so that says something. It's been hard because I'm back on Runescape and have a lot of quests, music (for the Music Cape teleport for my scrolls!), and other "active" things to catch up on. But once I'm caught up on those, I think I will be back to purely afk amethyst mining, bloods runecrafting, and other afk stuff instead. Because these backlog games really are excellent! And tbh, I enjoy them more than OSRS, I just have a set goal in OSRS that I wanna conclude!
