Needed an alternative to Brogue for my 11"Macbook Air, as have played it to death and still not ascended. Thought I'd give Infra Arcana a spin, as it comes very well reviewed. After a bit googling and tinkering, have it working pretty much perfectly now, under Mac OSX, using a simple Wineskin wrapper (believe me I have zero coding and porting skills, this was just a simple install using Wineskin).
Looking forward to dying even more now.
I've been playing a lot of this **FREE GAME** too lately. It's a brutal rogue-like, inspired by Lovecraft lore and Blood (the classic DOS fps). It's a really simple fun game, very interesting mechanics. It has great sound design and a surprisingly eerie and immerse atmosphere, given the simplicity of it. Anyone who is a member of the Esoteric Order of Dagon should play this immediately. If you're intrigued by rogue-likes but you're scared by complexity and interfaces this is a good starting point: it's a really simple game, there's only about 3 or 4 actual buttons to press on the keyboard while playing, it takes about 10 seconds to understand how to play.

I've only made it to dungeon level 3 or 4. I've died hundreds of times and when you die your character's tombstone appears in the churchyard in the persistent overworld. Pretty soon this creepy abandoned evil church will need to purchase some more real estate cuz I've filled it with so many tombstones of my failed characters lol. I'll have to review this soon too.
Special thanks to @headrollsoff for adding this to the Grouvee library. <3
