Cool Concept, Look, and Music -- But Gameplay Gets Old Quickly

Look: 8/10 Before even researching the manual, I like to jump into games just to see if they are intuitive. I was immediately struck by the great colors and elaborate sprites in this game. Always glad when an Atari game uses the Atari colors I've loved since I first played 1978 Superman. enter image description here

Sound: 7/10 I had to write a review because I was so excited for there to be "real music" but then it devolved into annoying beeps and alarm sounds. But dang did they do a good job with the intro song/music.

Play: 6/10 Definitely not an intuitive game heh, I was like, "Am I feeding cats in the window??" so I went and looked up the manual. Basically you dont want "Mama" to notice that you're giving most the pasta to the animals. This was fun for a bit but got old. All the controls are with the joystick, no need for the Fire button, just right to pick up a plate, up to feed the cat when there, down to feed the dog when there, or left to feed yourself as needed (but don't eat too much yourself!).

Feel: 7/10 Lollll that you bust from eating too much of the pasta. Super cute concept in general. It got old pretty quickly. The concept is great, if only the gameplay was a bit more fun and varied.

Attachment: 6/10 I doubt I will be returning to this, but definitely one I wont forget--due to the concept, the music, and the look--culminating in an overall memorable feel.
