Beat using English patch. This game had well presented story and characters, great graphics for the SNES, and rocking music. The controls and moves were excellent. I loved the backwards dodge, jump kick and how enemies did not do contact damage. The game did not go overboard by adding grabs or combos, rather there were just enough moves to handle every situation. The upwards tornado punch was great for flying enemies. I got stuck later on when I had to use the ranged attack to get past a barrier. I had not found this move or the dash attack from experimenting and only found out what to do by watching a let's play. So the ranged attack was simply holding attack for a second or so. It could also be turned into a powerful close range punch but that did not seem that good for combat. I didn't figure out how to reliably perform dash attack. I only used a few ultimate attacks; once or twice on tough flying enemies before I had figured out the tornado attack, and near the end when the game threw several enemies at once. The level design was good with secrets and optional paths …

The level design was good with secrets and optional paths to find. The enemies and bosses were good with tells to help learn how to avoid their attacks. I liked how the final boss seemed to have to moves of all the previous bosses rather than being something entirely new, like the game was training you to beat him. The game went back to the first stage while keeping lives, score and scrolls, but I have no idea if it becomes harder. I could see playing through again in the future.
Very solid and well made brawler platformer. No serious flaws other than being relatively short.
