Not Recccomended.

To be honest I didnt really give this a chance. I got tired of it in 15 minutes. Maybe joining a russian server wasn't the best idea, but i figure for a counterstrike inspired game (I guess, since people claim it's '2D counterstrike') with a very warsaw pact arsenal what more authentic way to play it than to romp around in an abandoned soviety factory and try to one two a few gopnicks?? Well, I did, I died, i cried, and tried and tried then after a while i shot a few boris' and a vlad and got kills just as cheap as the ones they quick'd on me. Mastering the maps is a must, an instinctive layout of where obstacles are and what can be shot through, I find that it's hard to play a game like this because you visually cant really see where your shot path goes. you also tend to spawn right in the middle of the map and often that means you are shot from both left and right sides while the laughing russians make you do the cheeki breeki dance of death like western spy, fun...

Visual indicators indicating where the walls are would be helpful. the LOS system doesnt really make intuitive sense once you detect and enemy you pretty much can see them for a while, even fi you lose LOS of them... So you will be popping shots even though walls are in the way, because... you see them. :o

One person was especially good at this game. appearing firing single shots and dissapearing. clearly he knew this map and played a lot. so apparently it's fun. Apparently.

There are a few 2d multi games like this, which i notice haunt the pages of steam time to time, but maybe i just havent played the best as i'm not quite sure the recipe will ever work. I hated king arthurs gold. This is worse (it's rougher, and free) but similiar feel. I think i've learnt my lesson. With multi you can do a turn based game or one with mixed real time elements like worms and it can work, but RTT 2D shooter seems best reserved for single player (Pixel Piracy) or incorporates many other elements (terrarria)

I get reeled into games really easy by how they posture themselves, either certain ideas or likeness, fortunately this one is free, but still not reccomended
