Cherno Samba!

I lost too many of my teenage years to this game. For me todays football management games are too complex and the features are rather overwhelming. This iteration of Championship Manager hit that sweet spot and allowed budding managers to focus on transfers, tactics and player development. I found this game insanely addictive and always found myself saying “One more match” well into the early hours of the morning. Finding hidden gem players at bargain prices and developing them into world class superstars was so satisfying and measuring your success against other managers reputation with domestic and European honours gave the game longevity. This is still a game I play to this day and with the ability to install modern day teams and squads makes it more relevant.
