This has got to be the best deal I've gotten so far for the wintersale on steam. What a great collection of games! I was playing this at work and the hours just flew by. My favorites so far have been the Shuten and Clew Land. I haven't even tried all of the games yet!

Its a collection of 7 games all with retro style NES art. Paradox Lost seems like a very compelling NES metroidvania, I'll have to absorb that one really slowly. Shuten is a shoot-em-up set in fuedal japan. The game has a bullet reflecting melee mechanic and (7?) different types of shooting styles that you get from mimicking enemy monsters. You gain gold which lets you purchase upgrades to your bullet types and armor.

So basically you get a card game, a donkey kong nes clone, a metroidvania game, a upgrading shmup, an evolving platformer, a puzzler, and a top down 4player bubble bobble beat em up.

This game is REALLY good. REALLY REALLY good. Like I think it should be the next pick for Grouvee Game Club. Right now it's on sale for only 99 cents! That is .99! Less than a dollar! Go get it!
