Platform:

Gameboy Advance

Description:

Military themed run and gun action with an art style reminicient of Metal Slug, but less over the top with slower pacing.

Liked:

As the first game in the series the graphics are outstanding. This game is much better than the first because most of the annoying things from the first have been solved. There is also added variety with some levels that play like Choplifter, and more weapons and more varied enemies.

Disliked:

The game improves most of the bad parts of the predecessor, but I still didn't find the sniper stages much fun. Some levels still feel a bit redundant. One of the biggest flaws is that you still get stripped of all collected weapons at the end of each level, even if the next level is part of the same mission.

Summary:

I like how much of the stuff that was flawed in the first game was improved in this one. Recommended play for the GBA, but again, don't expect the next Metal Slug.
