Princess Remedy - short & adorable -

Finished in about 1.5 hrs, not too hard but there were some spots I kept getting stuck on. Loved how quick you had to be I was really getting the hang of it and it was over. The fact that you could pick ANY npc to marry at the end cracked me UP, even empty treasure chests XD Would like to replay to get the other endings (66 total I think) Found out later you could just save right before you pick someone and reload to try everyones ending. Crazy it's free on steam! I absolutely recommend. The second game is about 5 dollars at the moment on steam as well so I might pick that up.

Really Solid Shmup

A nice little bullet hell game with entertaining dialogue. It's very tightly designed. Everything makes sense, nothing is frustrating, and there's a solid sense of progression. I don't like bullet hell at all but i liked this game.

Took me 45 minutes to finish it at 95% complete (i guess i missed an area). You can play it for free …

Cute and Short

You'll finish this game in an hour, maybe two hours max. It's delightful to play but not at all challenging. Yet, it's not really a game that's meant to be challenging; it's a game where you are meant to enjoy the ride.

Princess Remedy is a short little FREE game, available on Steam. I thought the game looked kind of interesting, simple, fun and I wasn't disappointed. Basically you play as a princess nurse or something, and you travel around this strange kingdom healing all these strange characters and creatures. You wander around in a 2D JRPG view, and upon "healing" someone, it changes into a short arcade-shooty segment. As you progress you become more powerful and unlock more areas until you eventually make it to 'the prince' and attempt to cure his illness.

The game is very short (a bit over an hour) and was really fun and satisfying to play. The graphics use limited palette, and limited resolution (big pixels) and it works really well giving the game a unique style, reminiscent of early DOS games or Commodore64/Atari. The sound is catchy chiptune style music which goes along with the theme. The difficulty is really well-balanced: it's not too hard or too easy. Just make sure you search for secrets fully upgrade the princess, then you'll have no trouble with the final boss (use lots of bombs).

The second-best thing about the game is the peculiar comedy. It's reminiscent of Undertale, that kind of peculiar off-beat dark humour.. these weird beings complaining about their "illnesses." It's hard to describe but it'll put a smile on your face.

The best thing about the game is at the end, where you can marry any NPC or creature you've met throughout the entire game, each with their own weird little ending scene.

Ultimately it's a great little gem. If you have an hour to spare and you feel like playing something fun and cheery then it's definitely worth your while, especially because it's free.
