That's a good Wrestling game.
This review is for the Nintendo Entertainment System version

I'm very surprised by how good this game was, how good it played, and looked.

I do appreciate the small details of the Referee, the Camera-man, and the crowd felt so similar to Punch-Out. gotta mention the ring changing color at the end of the matches was a cool touch.

The gameplay was also surprising, Offering diverse moveset for what it appears to be a simple yet fun game.

What really puts this game off to me is the Animation that makes me feel like I'm playing a GIF rather than a Game, and the music in the background is very annoying.

Still, this is a good game and worth playing.

Hours of fun when there were far fewer choices

I would play this for hours when I was kid. All I really remember was that Starman was my character of choice and the music. Fond memories but I think I had 4-5 games on my NES, max.

This game hasn't aged the best, however it's still a very fun and engaging experience.

Some wise person once said on Grouvee, that this game was fun when there was far fewer choices out there. I agree, and I played this a lot when I was a kid, but today it's just not holding up as well. The characters are cool, and you always had your go-to when playing couch multiplayer. One of the better Black Box sports titles for sure, but that might not be saying much.

Definitely the best "Sports Series" NES game. Great two player game with a lot of variety in the characters, unlike the other NES sports games. The announcers mimic talking and a referee follows you around as well as a cameraman. Your character can climb up on the ropes and body-slam your opponent. You can even throw each other out of the ring. Plus it has catchy fight music.
