A neat idea that a lot of people are going to latch on to and end up having a blast. Unfortunately I am not one of those people.

I decided to give this game a go since I’m a package delivery driver and I get A LOT of steps in every day. I was enthralled and having a great time initially. I had fun collecting Pikmin and seeing the new things that you could do or collect as I increased my levels. It’s actually a decent pace at which you learn new things or get new things. But all of this just ended up wearing off way to quickly. The novelty of it all lost it’s luster and after a week away from the game I couldn’t be bothered to come back.

I do want to say that I really appreciate that this game doesn’t turn you into a phone zombie. You can just walk and it counts your steps and if you want to start planting flowers you do that and then put the phone in your pocket.

It really is a neat little project. And I might give it a go again when things are a little slower but for now I’m just gonna put my cute little Pikmin on ice.
