It's tricky

Aged quite... well so, so. I also didn't play this as a kid so I'm not overly nostalgic about it, except the very 2000s design and soundtrack, which is really neat.

It's fun to upgrade the characters, and it works aolright as a solo experience. The real fun is clearly to be made on 2 players tho. I like that …

Having one of the best soundtracks in a video game, SSX Tricky brings a twist (literally) to the Pro Skater clone with snowboards. The music made the game enjoyable and fun and matched the gameplay dead on, a perfect fit.

The gameplay is surprisingly versatile with loads of moves, levels and character specific special moves. It looks fairly common graphics wise for a game of its time.

Overall, SSX Tricky is worth a play if you explore similar sports titles of the time, you'll have a surprising great experience, I promise.

Don't Try To Take Your Snowboard Off Mid-Air In Real Life, Kids

When we were young, this was the ONE game my sisters ever wanted to play. Honestly, great choice by them. When we were young, this was the ONE game my sisters ever wanted to play. Honestly, great choice by them. Without a doubt, one of the best snowboarding games ever made, this thing oozes swagger and is a joy to play. It may not be a realistic representation of the sport, but going off a ramp that launches you as high as a skyscraper while Run DMC blasts over the speakers is an unforgettable sensation worthy of the pantheon of all-time great gaming moments. It’s shocking to me that this series crashed and burned the way it did since SSX still has immense cache with gamers of that generation. One of the many, many fumbles by EA over the years.
