Arianna, a young sorceress, has been kidnapped by Ashura. Sky has pledged his life to rescuing her. Sky must venture through many colorful stages and nice background effects. Skyblazer is a blend of side-scrolling fighting with magical skills. Locating potions to recover energy and gaining magic points to thrash the enemies becomes a major part of the gameplay. Sky can also stick to and climb vertically up walls.

Beat the game and I enjoyed it quite a bit. I used magic sparingly, mostly using the comet attack to occasionally bypass platforming and the heal for boss fights. The challenge was reasonable without any really annoying platforming and the bosses were very predictable.
This game reminds me a lot of Demon's Crest though not as good. The game is very well-made with impressive graphics and mechanics but it is too short and does not go into enough depth with the various mechanics; especially the 3D flight.
