Part of me is disappointed by the limited dialogue options (example: someone says "We don't say those names in this town!" The natural response would be "Why?" Part of me is disappointed by the limited dialogue options (example: someone says "We don't say those names in this town!" The natural response would be "Why?" Instead you get: "I looked around today!" or "Can you teach me about local folklore and crafts?") but the other part of me wonders if it's not an in-character choice given that Captain Obvious doesn't seem to be the brightest crayon in the box. "It's too dark to see with my own eyes here!" Nigel, my friend, allow me to tell you about this glorious invention called a FLASHLIGHT.

I'll give him full marks for courage, though. Half the stuff he cheerfully investigates in this game is stuff that would have me heroically wetting my pants if I ran into it IRL.

This game is quite fun and pretty spooky, just started playing it. It's from 2008.

Not sure how I feel about the outfit choices of the protagonist though. He's wearing a puffer vest and one of those bald guy hats, and has a pretty serious goatee.
