Fun but Flawed
I have nostalgia bias on this one but it’s an overall fun platformer with a cool atmosphere, good soundtrack and one of the best intro vids on the PS1. Read moreI have nostalgia bias on this one but it’s an overall fun platformer with a cool atmosphere, good soundtrack and one of the best intro vids on the PS1. The controls and the camera on the other hand, needed improvement. The terrible hit detection and invisible holes make for many many deaths. It isn’t a hard game though so it’s really not going to drive you totally off a cliff. It’s like the creators knew because the 1-ups are peppered in this thing like crazy! Worth playing if you want a relaxing platformer with some cute antics. Like a clunkier Crash Bandicoot without the difficulty.
