Managed to beat the game with extreme use of save states and lowering the speed to 20 and even 10 frames per second. The 1st level was decent, except for the enemies camping at the end of bridges and the falling ground. The 2nd level was a bit worse but not too bad until the end where it suddenly sped up to be unmanageable. After a few tries in slow motion I managed a get through while only taking a single hit. The rest of the game sucked. I signed up to play a beat em up to beat the shit out of things, not play a platformer or runner. I made it to the hover bike level with 4 lives and died more than 20 times despite slow motion. The snake platforming level was obnoxious, the track thing level was easy once I got the hang of it and the final level was more stupid runner than hitting things culminating in a laughably easy final boss.
Maybe I could give the game a pass if it had actual beat em up stages in between the bullshit, but the bullshit would still be there. I did like the presentation and controls so it is not like the developers were incompetent. They deliberately decided to make bait and switch level design.
