Almost supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

Introduction

Remember when you were a kid and children's parties would blast Disney music, but some of them wouldn't fit on a party scene. Well, someone had the crazy idea of turning those Disney songs into eurobeat or techno and into a dancing game!

Introduction

Remember when you were a kid and children's parties would blast Disney music, but some of them wouldn't fit on a party scene. Well, someone had the crazy idea of turning those Disney songs into eurobeat or techno and into a dancing game!

The Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

  • The music is absolutely awesome! They turned children songs into actually danceable beats, and they did it flawlessly. I would say most of the covers are even superior to the originals, for example Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious now sounds like an actual party song you would hear somewhere instead of a musical number.

  • Offers multiple difficulty levels, catering to both beginners and experienced players. I recommend this game if you want to get good at DDR since most of the songs are easy.

  • It has a hilarious Initial D easter egg, one unlockable song is none other than Night of Fire, one of the many songs heard in the anime. This was my introduction to that anime, no idea how the song made it in, but it is quite an awesome addition.

  • The characters look great, they are 2D animated and redesigned for the game to make them look rad; their animations may be limited and a bit distracting, but it is an awesome addition.

The Superlame

  • You can beat the game in an hour, this is very short, way too short. I know this is a party game, and a dancing one at that but still.

  • It has very little songs, the USA and Japanese versions only share 14 songs. You are going to get bored quite quickly in the long run.

Conclusion

It is good rhythm game that successfully combines the magic of Disney with the gameplay of Dance Dance Revolution, with an awesome but limited selection of covers. While its limited song selection and simpler gameplay may not satisfy hardcore DDR fans.
