Look: 8/10 Definitely watch a video to get a feel for its look

Play: 7/10 I technically like everything about this: impressive first-person 3d graphics, auto-map maker (like in dungeon crawlers, apparently that can be taken from you; never happened to me though in the first 2 mazes), but clunky, meandering games like this were always more interesting for me to wander for like 5-10 minutes than actually engage with. Even some later games, like the demo for Jersey Devil that I had, I actually got disappointed once I realized I could move on in the demo beyond the outside of the building lol. I had so many fond memories and intense pings of nostalgia for wandering around the outside. Once I actually entered the building and moved on tho, I had to finally admit I didn't love Jersey Devil. And likewise, no matter how impressed I am by this and how I technically should love an auto-map-making maze game with innovative graphics, I just don't have the patience for the clunky map-making that reminded me of early PLATO dungeon crawlers and confusing mazes.

Feel: 8/10 Very impressive. Not actually "fun" to me after a bit, especially the extra features like the wind, but it was fun just to wander. And you know how much I love games that I enjoy wandering in. Especially with these impressive, unique first-person maze graphics that give me 90s Windows 3d maze vibes, certainly not '82 Atari maze vibes! So, while this warranted a review for the innovative look and settings options, it's too sluggish (oh, early microcomputers) and not really my type of game. Definitely play this or watch a video of it if you have any interest in early 3d graphics, especially 3d maze games' graphics!
Attachment: 7/10 Tho I definitely wont be forgetting the game, and feel strongly that I will replay it in some context, I just don't see myself, alone on some evening, planning to play through all these mazes ha. Which is sad, cuz as I kid I loved completing mazes on paper, which the in-game map reminds me of so I should love this, but just wasn't fully clicking. Maybe cuz it's time to head to my dentist appointment. Mayhaps I will give this another chance someday!
