Conflict:Desert Storm 2 was one of the first console games I ever played. I still remember trying to get the coop working with my little brother. Not long before, I had tried to play Conflict:Vietnam on my PC, but sadly, my copy was presumably missing an install disc. This was 25 yeas ago.

Now, I finally own this squad based shooter on PS2 and boy does it look terrible. Luckily, the gameplay is solid and the game even features RPG elements.

When I look at an old game that hasn't visually aged well, I remind myself that if this was an indie title that just came out recently, I would enjoy it regardless of visual quality ie. Combat Elite for PS2. Where else am I gonna play a WW2 action RPG?
