Had a really nice random encounter with two strangers in a music room they'd made, found out we all loved the same music, had all gotten into jazz fusion (is it a phase? We'll find out), and that we all loved making music. They shared their jungle and dnb tracks, we talked music software, motivation, and life.

Love those brief moments where everything unexpectedly comes together, you meet some truly awesome people and strangers become friends. Came away feeling motivated to get back into an old hobby that I didn't realise I was missing in my life, like a void had begun to fill. Thank you video games!

It's Christmas Eve, I've had some family time, and now I find myself standing outside a Dominos talking to a block of cheese.

Club Penguin pizza parlour music played softly in the background, we talked food, health and safety inspections, and Christmas. There's something magical and beautiful about seeing how people spend their free time, especially around Christmas. These players …

These players had chosen to model a mundane pizza chain and pretended to serve me non-existent pizza. Free will. I love it!

Merry Christmas to all:)

My favourite game on the list has to be Tower Unite, a game I've talked about a bit on here and is very close to my heart. I met my partner on there and it's always an endless source of joy and creativity for me. Because I already own the game, I have a spare key for it now and would love someone else to experience it if they're interested - just drop a comment and I'll send the steam key. It's a social hub style game much like VR chat but for flat-screen, think mini-games, hanging out, visiting the arcade or bowling, and visiting peoples condos where players are free to create their own sims-style house or space. Some of the condo creations are incredible, I've taken part in entire game shows, podcast events, and cinema experiences. Here's me as Huffin Puffin with a jet pack, swinging some balls down the alley.

The Greatest Penguin Heist of All Time looks really funny and goofy, excited to try that out. Blazing Sails looks like... Sea of Thieves but all-in on the PvP, and *Perfect Heist looks like a light-hearted spin on PayDay. Definitely some fun games in this bundle!

Never thought I'd be able to chill in a pool with a rubber duck tube, whilst I emulate DKC 3 for the GBA, with my friends fishing and talking around me. Now I don't have to buy more handhelds in real life, I can just mess around with them virtually!

Later that evening whilst waiting in the mini game pre-lobby, two strangers realised they were destined to form a band and gave us a little gig. They free-styled some beautiful blues about one of the users harassing them about their "awful music", and then seamlessly transitioned to a rolling stones song lmao.

So much love for this game and the community spirit behind it!

Having a lot of silly fun with this game on PC. I've been aware of community based games like Playstation Home on PS3, VRchat etc but I never gave them a shot. I'm loving the random social encounters you come across and the whole concept of the plaza, having arcades, a casino, shops, it's a cool idea. The player count …

The player count compared to VRchat is hideously low and I seriously hope more people come on board. There's a really nice vanilla structure to the game that I think things like VRchat are missing. There's in-game currency, leveling, objectives, customisation etc but the main appeal is just kicking back and chilling with friends. I think the typical £20 price tag is throwing a lot of people off as VRchat is free, but if you can find this game on sale it's a blast!
