This game reminded me of a Zelda-esque game, in that you run around a world slashing at monsters, jumping, pushing boxes around and bashing clay pots, climbing around platforms to get crystals, etc. The graphics are sort of... gamecube-era in quality. They weren't horrific but it definitely isn't A+.

The voice acting is horrendous, and so is the "plot." An evil witch did something and you have to collect 100 crystals on each level to unlock stuff to defeat her. While your protagonist runs around, dialogue pops up on the screen that basically consists of:

Witch: oooh i'll kill you
You: oh nooo! i'm scared!!! no, i'll be brave!!!
You: the voice is gone! Yeah! I scared her off!
You: I will show them I'm more than just a troublemaking princess!
Witch: oooooh I'm still gonna kill you
You: OH NO she's back!!!!

Etc. Etc. Etc.

After each level there's a written infodump, text on the screen. Then you do it again with new obstacles.

We didn't get through the first two levels. I guess for some reason I thought there would be more to the game? I'm not really into mindlessly jumping around slashing at cartoon monsters and gathering …

We didn't get through the first two levels. I guess for some reason I thought there would be more to the game? I'm not really into mindlessly jumping around slashing at cartoon monsters and gathering up crystals. That's not my kind of game. At least not without some plot, characters, quest, something. Or at least pretty art? Idk. This felt half-baked, and besides the adorable character design of the protagonist, it had nothing going for it.
