Another mini-game collection that served as a testing ground for larger VR concepts, the uncreatively named PlayStation VR Worlds features some hits and some misses. Similarly to The Playroom VR, there's a clear star of the show and that's the London Heist segment, which is essentially a short Guy Ritchie film from the first person perspective. It's fun, features great performances, and is easy to beat in one sitting. Out of all the things that I liked to show off with my shiny new PSVR, this was the standout. And the fact that these games were so short made it easier to share, which is nice in a group setting when everyone is waiting for their turn to try out this exciting new hardware. I miss the excitement over VR. In 2016 it really seemed like that's where gaming was going. But bringing that thing to parties definitely revealed a huge limitation of the platform: it made about 50% of the people who tried it on immediately ill. Like nauseous to the point that their night was ruined. It's a serious bummer.
