wordsearch - find the words on the grid. each one is based on a random theme with all the words related to it.
fit word - place the words into the crossword grid. there is no particular theme just a bunch of random words.
crossword - you get given hints on what a word may be and you have to figure out where it goes based on if it's going across or down.
backwords - similar to crossword but you do the opposite, you still get the hints but have to find the words and fill out the gaps in between them.
piece word - very similar to crossword except you have to shuffle around pieces on a grid to form words based on the hints going either across or down.
sudoku - a 36x36 grid where you need to fill out lines or 9x9 grids with the numbers one through nine. you cannot repeat any numbers within the line or grid.
as for the additional puzzles they include:
hangman - choose a letter and fill out the word, pick too many wrong and it's game over.
colour match - you have 3 colours to choose from and a picture to fill in. you cannot have two of the same colour touching however.
word piece - 6 letters on a spider web grid, connect them to make a word.
split word - each set of words has a theme and each word has been split into multiple segments that need to be re arranged.
math matchup - you are given a sum with a missing number or symbol, figure out which one is missing.
picture perfect - six pictures but four of them have differences, figure out the two that are the same
jigsaw - re arrange the jumbled pieces to form an assembled picture
memory game - following the hide and seek picture puzzle you will be asked to do a short memory based quiz around it.
overall your main rewards are the trophies. After completing goals like finishing puzzles you are awarded with them in the trophy gallery. not only this the more puzzles you complete the more you unlock in master mode. these are harder variants of the all the puzzle types and take a lot more skill and time as compared to the ones featured in challenge mode.
however if you are struggling then you can earn hint points. after finishing a bonus puzzle you get to spin a wheel where you are rewarded with either 10, 25, 50, 75 or 100 hint points. you may also find letters on the wheel and after spelling "puzzler" you are rewarded with a grand prize. these points can be in any of the main challenge mode missions but not the master mode puzzles and the bonus puzzles.
overall this is an excellent puzzle game with a lot of challenge but it would never feel unfair as the balanced hint system helps when needed and you can beat the whole game without it.
