A simple arcade experience on a dated handheld.
This review is for the Nintendo DS version

Maybe it was unfair of me, but I used this game as a pallet cleanser after finishing Tears of the Kingdom.

To be fair it is not a terrible game, it is just simple and dated. Simple in the sense that it is a simple vertical arcade shooter where you are using the stylus instead of a light gun or joystick. That's the whole game. Shooting zombies and dodging obstacles. It's dated in the sense that there is no real modern polish, terrible voice acting, graphics that don't really hold up (mostly because they have no artistic style), and the gameplay loop that gets old in about 20 minutes.

Also dated in the way it does art around women. Maybe they are going for a lollipop chainsaw kind of aesthetic, but it cut down on the cool factor they were going for, at least in my opinion.

Two stars as a modern gamer looking back through time. Probably not worth the work in getting it. Much better examples from that genre even from that same year.
