Inkle is one of my favorite indie studios and Heaven's Vault is one of my all time favorite games. I had a lot of hype for this new game and It was up to the task. This is a beautiful work of art about the beauty and the folclore of Scotland, narrated by getting us lost in its mountains.

You probably noticed that I gave it a lower score than the average on OpenCritic. First of all, scoring sucks and I wish I didn't have to score my reviews. Second of all, this game is not localized and I'm giving a lot of importance to that.
The usual Inkle stuff: great writing, amazing vibe, lots of character, far from perfect but so much to love that it doesn’t matter. It reminded me a lot 80 Days because of the freedom it gives you, because of the time limit challenge and in the way it’s able to use just a couple of strokes to make you feel the power and the scale of the world you’re exploring. Another must-have from them.
