Great, Memorable Atari Action Game
This review is for the Atari 2600 version

Look: 7/10 Well, I tried to play this on the Intellivision, but had to give in. I settled with the Atari 2600 version even tho it's a port. Argh. Anyway, the graphics are functional but nothing special. Decent colors, tho not the spectacular Atari colors I often love.

Sound: 7/10 Not sure what the original Intellivision version sounded like, but in the Atari version, I like how your death sound faded away. And I liked the enemy death sound too. Otherwise, nice that it wasn't particularly annoying sounds, but also nothing special.

Play: 8/10 I love how you regain health after being hit. The controls are very tight and consistent. I had fun playing this, tho it got a bit repetitive and frustrating after breaking 10k score. I think I would have gone for a higher score (if I didn't die then, of course ha, btu also) if the gameplay was that bit more fun. The bonus rounds were okay, not my favorite part though. Still, it stands out for this year! Pro-tip: the disc doesn't do any damage when it's sent back to you, so make sure to have control of the disc--and get used to the length needed …

Still, it stands out for this year! Pro-tip: the disc doesn't do any damage when it's sent back to you, so make sure to have control of the disc--and get used to the length needed to hit the enemy collision masks because the collision masks aren't perfect (but decently fun to learn their mechanics). Oh, and of course, read the manual of course!

Feel: 7/10 It doesn't have enough variety of gameplay etc., to say I love the game--but it stuck out amid the sea of Atari action games, and the gameplay is well-done enough to warrant at least a playtest! If only the look were a bit more striking, and the difficulty increases were a bit more varied..

Attachment: 8/10 For some reason, maybe cuz it's a well-known franchise, I feel like I will be showing this game to my brothers. But mostly because the gameplay was so solid. Would love a 2+ player version of this. I suppose it really isn't all that amazing, but it stood out--and I'm a sucker for games based on movies/books/shows/etc.

Completion: ~12k score enter image description here

Playtime: ~30mins
