Eight years after the release of Shelter, the whole concept of the game still works fine but it obviously feels much less groundbreaking. Still, Shelter 3 is a fascinating game, with great style, so engrossing in its best moments and it feels fresh enough thanks to the different setting/animals and to a couple of new mechanics. As usual, by the way, it works best when it puts the animals in dangers and makes you experience loss. I also have to add that I played it with my daughter and it was a delightful experience, especially because it gave us so much to talk about after the end (which is really good, by the way).
