As I said in a previous review, Wii Fit has long been an important part of my life. I dutifully recorded the results of my daily fitness test, and racked up over 50 hours in exercises and games.

Wii Fit U is an improvement on the original in every way, except I'm a little older now and get my exercise in other ways. Still, Matt (the boxing coach) and the Wii Fit trainer was like seeing old friends, and I enjoyed doing all the exercises.

My favourite part of the experience however was wearing the Fit Meter and clocking up those steps. I managed to complete the walking tour of Italy, and made it about halfway up Mt Fuji before I lost the device for the second time. (It was a pretty crappy plastic clip that attached to the belt.)

Full of nostalgia, but it doesn't really have a place in my life any more, except to occasionally weigh my overweight cat (vet's orders).
