Super Duper Metroid is an exploration oriented hack of Super Metroid that was originally being created by Daltone and later finished and touched up by Metaquarius. It uses v0.8.1 of Project Base, and also contains a mirror mode and a built-in randomizer!

A new favorite Metroid Hack
It has been a while since I played the original Super Metroid, so I’m not sure the exact differences with this hack. That said, this was easily one of the most fun hacks I’ve ever played - up there with Subversion and Spooky Mission.
The exploration is just top notch. Challenging but extremely rewarding - usually finding a spot will open up half of a region to explore. The pacing is great, and the quality of life features on the physics and map made the game very enjoyable.
Very highly recommended! Either my 2nd or 3rd favorite behind Subversion and Spooky Mission
