I feel I'm the only one that will ever go out of his way to say it, but this game hurt me personally.

First of all the cabinet is pretty nice. It has a modern cabinet frame with the original galaga artwork. A good balance of old and new. The joystick is a regular microswitch so it really aids the games controls and the fire button is also a solid microswitch.

The engine itself is actually amazing, the controls and way the engine ran were butter smooth and precise, not the exact same as original galaga but a welcome change for the better. The visuals had a pac man championship edition and space invaders extreme neon lit aesthetic to it which made the sprites very pretty to look at especially whenever something explodes. The mothership after the first wave of enemies is a good boss, as soon as I beat it I wanted more, and the incentive of tickets made the steaks feel a bit more real.

its unfortunate that such a good engine is restricted to this 2 level cash grab of a game. If it had even 6 levels I would be satisfied and give it the rating the gameplay deserves, but I can't.
