This may honestly be the best implementation of Amiibo integration I've seen yet. I mean, it actually makes me want to buy more Amiibo. The game is free and you can play the main levels using any Amiibo, but certain ones (seems to be Mario and Donkey Kong universe ones) give you special abilities that let you get higher scores on the levels and open up special levels. I enjoyed the little bit I played so far using my Diddy Amiibo (the only one I have that has special abilities in the game). I'm excited to try more.
